Purposes and legal bases of data processing

When processing your personal data, the provisions of the EU-DS-GVO and all other applicable data protection regulations are complied with. Legal bases for the data processing result in particular from Art. 6 EU-DS-GVO.

We use your data to initiate business, to fulfill contractual and legal obligations, to carry out the contractual relationship, to offer products and services and to strengthen the customer relationship, which may also include analyses for marketing purposes and direct advertising.

Your consent also constitutes a permission requirement under data protection law. Here we will inform you about the purposes of the data processing and about your right of withdrawal. If the consent also refers to the processing of special categories of personal data, we will expressly point out to you in the consent, Art. 88 para. 1 EU GDPR.

Processing of special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9(1) EU-DS-GVO shall only take place if this is required by legal provisions and there is no reason to assume that your legitimate interest in the exclusion of the processing outweighs this, Art. 88(1) EU-DS-GVO. 1 EU GDPR.

We will only pass on your data to third parties within the framework of the statutory provisions or with the corresponding consent. Otherwise, data will not be passed on to third parties unless we are obliged to do so by mandatory legal provisions (disclosure to external bodies such as supervisory authorities or law enforcement agencies).

Recipients of the data / categories of recipients

Within our company, we ensure that only those persons receive your data who need them to fulfill contractual and legal obligations.

In many cases, service providers support our specialist departments in performing their tasks. The necessary data protection contracts were concluded with all service providers.

Third country transfer / intention to transfer to third country

Data will only be transferred to third countries (outside the European Union or the European Economic Area) if this is necessary for the performance of the contractual relationship, is required by law or you have given us your consent.

Data storage period

We store your data as long as they are needed for the respective processing purpose. Please note that numerous retention periods require that data continues to be stored. This relates in particular to retention obligations under commercial or tax law (e.g. Commercial Code, Fiscal Code, etc.). If there are no further storage obligations, the data is routinely deleted after the purpose has been achieved.

In addition, we may retain data if you have given us permission to do so or if legal disputes arise and we use evidence under legal statutes of limitations, which can be up to thirty years; the regular statute of limitations is three years.

Secure transfer of your data

In order to protect the data stored by us in the best possible way against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons, we use appropriate technical and organizational security measures. The security levels are continuously reviewed in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards.

The data exchange from and to our website is encrypted. We offer HTTPS as the transmission protocol for our web presence, in each case using the current encryption protocols. In addition, we offer our users content encryption as part of the contact forms and for applications. The decryption of this data is only possible for us. There is also the option of using alternative communication channels (e.g., the postal service).

Obligation to provide the data

Various personal data are necessary for the establishment, implementation and termination of the debt relationship and the fulfillment of the associated contractual and legal obligations. The same applies to the use of our website and the various functions it provides.

We have summarized details for you in the above item. In certain cases, data must also be collected or made available due to legal requirements. Please note that it is not possible to process your request or carry out the underlying contractual relationship without providing this data.

Categories, sources and origin of the data

Here, the principle of data economy and data avoidance is observed, in that you only have to provide the data that we absolutely need to contact you. On our website, we offer users the opportunity to register by providing personal data. The advantage is that you can view the order history in particular and your specified data for the order form is stored. So if you order again, you do not have to enter it again.

Registration is therefore either necessary or possible for the fulfillment of a contract with you or for the performance of pre-contractual measures if guest access is also provided. If necessary, add or adapt other purposes.

The principle of data economy and data avoidance is observed here, as only the data required for registration is marked as a mandatory field with an asterisk (*). These are e.g. the e-mail address as well as password including password repetition.

By registering on our website, the user’s IP address, the date and time of registration are also stored (technical background data). By clicking the button “Register now” you give your consent to the processing of your data.

Please note: The password you assign is stored by us in encrypted form. Employees of our company cannot read this password. Therefore, they cannot give you any information should you forget your password.

In this case, use the “Forgotten password” function, which will send you an automatically generated new password by e-mail. No employee is authorized to request your password from you by telephone or in writing. Therefore, please never mention your password if you receive such requests.

Upon completion of the registration process, your data is stored with us for use of the protected customer area. As soon as you log on to our website using your e-mail address as your user name and password, this data is made available for actions you perform on our website.
